The Changping to Bipeng Valley traverse is one of the top 10 treks in China. The trek takes you through primitive forests, alpine meadows and beautiful lakes. Camp under the stars at the foot of Yaomei Feng, the tallest (6,250m) and youngest sister of the Siguniang Mountain range, also known as the Queen of Sichuan’s peaks.

Another camping option is at Haizi Valley, the least accessible of Siguniang’s three valleys. It is a 15km trek to spend the night at Dahaizi, the largest alpine lake in the area where you are likely to find yaks grazing and wild ducks bathing.
